The Concours d’Élégance — The Main Event
The Salon Privé Concours d’Élégance, held on the South Lawn of Blenheim Palace on Thursday September 4, is the centrepiece of the week. The 2026 edition features an exceptional roster of entries, including a Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, a Ferrari 250 GTO, and a McLaren F1. The judging panel includes former Formula 1 designers, chief engineers from the world’s leading marques, and the custodians of the world’s greatest car collections. The concours is limited to 80 entries, each of which is selected by an advisory committee that ensures the quality and diversity of the field.
World Debuts — The 2026 Launches
Salon Privé has established itself as a platform for world and European debuts. The 2026 edition will host the public debut of the Bugatti Tourbillon, the French marque’s first hybrid hypercar, which replaces the Chiron with a naturally aspirated V16 engine and three electric motors. Ferrari will present the 12Cilindri in right-hand drive configuration for the first time, and a special display marks the 60th anniversary of the Lamborghini Miura, with examples drawn from private collections across Europe. The debutants are displayed on the palace’s West Lawn, with the technical teams on hand to discuss the engineering behind each car.
President’s Pavilion — The Premium Experience
The President’s Pavilion is the highest tier of hospitality at Salon Privé, offering a dedicated lounge in a marquee on the South Lawn with panoramic views of the concours field. The Pavilion includes a champagne reception, a four-course lunch prepared by a Michelin-starred chef, and afternoon tea. The price point is £2,500 per person for the full day, inclusive of all drinks and dining. The Programme — A Week of Excellence
Salon Privé is structured as a week-long celebration of automotive culture. Tuesday September 2 is Ladies’ Day, with a focus on fashion, jewellery, and the lifestyle brands that complement the automotive world. Wednesday is the Supercar and Hypercar Day, featuring a display of the world’s fastest production cars and a demonstration run up the palace drive. Thursday is Concours Day, the pinnacle of the week. Friday is Future Classics Day, showcasing the cars that will define the collector market in the decades ahead. Saturday is open to the public, offering a family-friendly atmosphere with a display of cars from every era.
