Paris Fashion Week is the most competitive ticketing environment in the premier calendar. For the major houses — Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Hermès — guest lists are sealed months in advance, and even long-standing clients of the brands can find themselves on waitlists. Octobere’s Fashion Week strategy operates on a different axis: relationships with the houses’ private-client teams rather than the public-facing press offices.

The Front Row — Seating Strategy
Front-row seats at the major shows are allocated by each house’s VIP client relations team, not by the events department. This is a critical distinction. The client relations team controls a portion of seats reserved for the house’s most significant private clients — individuals who spend €100,000+ annually across ready-to-wear, accessories, and high jewellery. To access these seats, one must be known to the client relations team as a serious client. Octobere’s fashion desk maintains introductions to the client relations teams at all major houses operating during Paris Fashion Week. For members who are existing clients of these houses, we can leverage existing relationships to upgrade seating. For those who are not yet on a house’s radar, we structure introductions through private shopping appointments in the months preceding Fashion Week, building the relationship before the ticket request is made.

The After-Parties — Where Access Gets Difficult
The official after-parties are notoriously difficult to penetrate. The Chanel dinner, the Dior soirée, and the Louis Vuitton after-show are invitation-only events where lists are guarded by the houses’ communications directors. Our approach is to target the secondary layer — the private dinners hosted by the houses’ creative directors and the more intimate gatherings held at the directors’ apartments or private salons. These events are not publicly known, and they offer a significantly better experience: smaller crowds, better conversation, and direct interaction with the creative teams. Access to these events comes through relationships with the creative directors’ personal assistants and the houses’ senior stylists. We cultivate these relationships year-round, not merely during Fashion Week.

Private Atelier Visits — The Ultimate Access
The most coveted experience during Paris Fashion Week is not a show or a party: it is a private visit to a house’s atelier. Watching a premiere d’atelier explain the construction of a couture piece, seeing the embroidery archives, and understanding the technical mastery behind each collection — these are experiences that money alone cannot buy. Octobere arranges atelier visits for members with a genuine interest in craftsmanship. These visits are conducted outside of show hours, in small groups of no more than four people, and they offer an education in premier that transforms how one understands fashion.
