Private Rooftop Access — The Ultimate Option

Timing — The Carnival Strategy
The Carnival rewards strategic timing. Sunday is children’s day — quieter, more family-oriented, and the best day for those who want to experience the street food and the sound systems without the intensity of Monday’s crowds. Monday is adult day — the main parade day, when the costumes are at their most elaborate, the sound systems are at their loudest, and the atmosphere is at its most electric. The parade officially starts at 9am on both days, but the peak of the action is between 1pm and 6pm. By 7pm, the streets begin to empty, and the after-parties in the surrounding bars and clubs take over.
