The Monaco Yacht Show is the world’s premier superyacht exhibition, a four-day showcase of maritime engineering and design that transforms Port Hercule into a floating gallery of the world’s most extraordinary vessels. The 35th edition, running from September 23 to 26, will present 120 superyachts including 43 world premieres from the industry’s most prestigious shipyards. The total value of the vessels on display is expected to exceed $4 billion, making it the most significant gathering of capital and craftsmanship in the yachting calendar.
The Vessels — 43 World Premieres
The 2026 edition features an unprecedented number of global debuts. Benetti will present its new B.Now 50M series, a semi-custom platform that offers the interior volume of a 60-metre vessel in a 50-metre hull. Lürssen will debut its latest 90-metre displacement yacht, a project that has been in development for four years and represents the German yard’s most ambitious build to date. Oceanco, fresh from the delivery of a 100-metre custom project, will show a new 75-metre concept that explores hybrid propulsion at scale. For attendees, the premieres offer an unparalleled opportunity to compare the world’s finest shipyards side by side, with the technical teams available for private briefings.
The Sapphire Experience
The show’s premium access programme, the Sapphire Experience, offers a curated itinerary that bypasses the public areas of the show. Sapphire guests are met at Nice Airport by a private driver, transferred to Monaco by helicopter or luxury vehicle, and escorted to the show’s VIP lounge in the heart of Port Hercule. The lounge offers dedicated concierge service, a champagne bar, and a private viewing area for the superyacht parade. The price point is €4,200 per person, inclusive of airport transfers, lounge access, and a guided tour of selected vessels. The Pre-Show Charter Window
The week preceding the Monaco Yacht Show — September 15 to 22 — is the optimal charter window for those attending the show. During this period, yachts scheduled for exhibition are available for charter at 20–30% below peak season rates, as owners and captains prefer to have the vessel occupied rather than idle ahead of the show. The Mediterranean in late September offers stable weather, warm sea temperatures, and significantly fewer vessels on the water than in August. Octobere’s Marine desk recommends a seven-day charter starting September 15, with the option to extend through the show weekend for members who want to attend the exhibition from the comfort of their own chartered yacht.
Port Hercule — The Show Floor
Port Hercule, Monaco’s natural deep-water harbour, is the show’s venue. The quays are divided into two sections: the eastern quay accommodates the largest yachts (60 metres and above), while the western quay houses the mid-range fleet and the exhibitor tents. The show is open to the public from 10am to 6pm daily, but the best experience is in the early morning (8am–10am) when the quays are quiet and the light is optimal for photography.
