The 2026 edition features over 40 manufacturers showcasing their latest models, with world debuts from Lotus, McLaren, and a significant Chinese EV presence that reflects the changing dynamics of the global automotive industry. World Debuts — The 2026 Line-Up
Lotus will use the British Motor Show for the public debut of its next-generation electric sports car, the successor to the Emira that signals the brand’s full commitment to electrification. McLaren will present its latest GT, a model designed for grand touring comfort without sacrificing the performance DNA that defines the Woking brand. The Chinese EV presence is the most significant yet, with BYD, NIO, and XPeng all confirmed for major display stands. The show’s floor plan has been expanded to accommodate the increased exhibitor count, with dedicated areas for the EV showcase and the supercar display.
The Live Track — Adrenaline Action
The show’s Live Track is a purpose-built demonstration circuit that runs throughout the weekend, offering visitors the opportunity to see the cars in motion. The programme includes hot laps with professional drivers, drift demonstrations, and manufacturer showcases that highlight each brand’s performance credentials.
